Edmontosaurus Specimens

remember that edmontosaurus specimen that was so huge it rivaled sauropods? well that was all due to a typo in the paper describing it. the mentioned the tail segment of MOR V 007 was 1016 cm; that was a typo, what it should have said was that the tail segment measured 1016 mm. credit and my thanks go to  as he pointed out the typo and posted information on the other half of the MOR V 007 specimen which is currently housed in Naturmuseum St. Gallen in Switzerland under the specimen number of NMSG P 0001. MOR V 007 was scaled using its skull length of 2.9 ft.

Becky's giant is scaled using its maxilla length of 4 ft

now the largest specimen I know of: X-rex scaled using a tail length of 7.5 meters. It is slightly larger than a shantungosaurus, slightly.

I will add more if specimens of interest come to my attention (particularly large specimens)(please notify me if there are any specimens near the size of X rex.)

The Edmontosaurs' patterns are based off of Saurian teams which in turn are based off of  fossilized skin/scales from an Edmontosaurus.
